If the dance floor is positioned incorrectly, not many guests will find their way onto it, and the party will be over before it starts. As an event DJ, tips on the correct positioning of the dance floor are part of the consultation - after all, we all want everyone to dance and have an unforgettable party in the end, don't we? 1. Do not plan a dance floor that is too small or too large<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At a more significant event, it can quickly happen that the dance floor is planned to be too large. At a large event, it can quickly happen that the dance floor is planned to be too large. However, the dancing guests will soon be lost on the dance floor if it is too big. Most people love dancing in a group, but many quickly feel uncomfortable if there is a lot of space around them and they feel that the others in the room are watching them. The dance floor should not be too smooth and should always have a firm surface so that even ladies' shoes with heels will have no problems. The closer I am to the party and the dance floor as an event DJ, the better! That way, I'm part of the party and can immediately see how the party guests react to the next song. I also experience time and time again that the dancers are thrilled to get in touch with me as a DJ and love to show and signal that they really like the current song. None of this is possible if I'm positioned too far away from the dance floor at the DJ booth - even on a stage! Close is perfect!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ideally, the dance floor, bar, and event DJ should be positioned near each other: In the magic dance triangle! At the beginning of the evening, many guests like to watch the party from a safe distance before finally mingling with the party crowd. It's just a few quick steps from the bar to the dance floor. It's also lovely to refresh at the bar immediately after dancing the night away. And the closer the bar is to the dance floor, the quicker the guests return!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

5. Two reasons to have bar tables around the dance floor<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For the same reason as mentioned under point 4, from an event DJ's point of view, I always recommend placing enough bar tables around the dance floor. From here, the hustle and bustle on the dance floor can be observed, and the guests can get into the groove. After a while, the step onto the dance floor is only a small one! At the same time, the bar tables offer dancers the opportunity to step off the dance floor to the side, take a breather for a few minutes but still be part of the party. They're back on the dance floor as soon as their next favourite song hits the turntables!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For the rest of the evening, the lighting situation contributes significantly to the success on the dance floor. It is essential to avoid too much light, as it makes guests feel too much in the \"limelight\" when dancing. An event DJ can provide professional advice on lighting to create a cool club atmosphere where everyone wants nothing more than to dance!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At business events and large company parties, many additional attractions are often offered to guests \u2013 which is fantastic. However, careful consideration should be given beforehand to where these additional offerings are placed. Because anything found outside the party room will simultaneously draw party guests away from the dance floor \u2013 this can negatively affect the atmosphere on the dance floor. For example, if a Photo booth<\/a> Placed near the dance floor, it becomes part of the party and is used extensively, but without clearing the dance floor for extended periods. If, however, a photo booth is found outside the hall or even the building, guests leave the dance floor for longer periods and their party spirit cools down.
