My name is Markus – I’m a passionate DJ and have been behind the decks at all sorts of events for over 20 years. I’ve been working as a professional DJ full-time since 2013.

Before that, I worked for many years at a media agency and later in Microsoft’s marketing department. This gives me a significant advantage today: I have a very clear understanding of how companies operate, what they expect and how they are structured. And I know just how important professionalism, reliability and clear communication are at business events.

Musically, I range from laid-back background tunes to creative, danceable party mixes that appeal to all generations. What makes business events special is that, as an event DJ, I can expect a really mixed crowd of party guests. Perfect! Because keeping different generations equally happy on the dance floor is certainly a challenge, but it’s also my greatest passion!

2 Initial consultation & planning

We’ll discuss the objectives, the schedule, your musical preferences and any special items on the programme. I’ll also send you my music questionnaire to help you get started.

3 Technical coordination

I’ll sort things out with the venue to ensure the sound, lighting and set-up are just right.

4 On the day of the event

Set-up on time, a low-key presence, and two musical segments: background music and party music.

The result: clean, rapid dismantling – without disrupting ongoing operations.

How far in advance should we book?

Corporate events are often concentrated in certain months and these dates fill up very quickly. Enquire early to secure your preferred date.

A high-quality, elegant set-up consisting of sound, lighting and microphone technology. Additional systems are available for larger events.

This depends on the event concept. Most company events are between 4 and 8 hours long. Extensions are possible at any time.

Backup equipment, guaranteed cancellation by my DJ team and professional public liability insurance.

In many cases, corporate events require a GEMA registration necessary - depending on the type, location and setting of the event. I will help you to make the right categorisation and clarify with you whether registration is necessary. If you wish, I can provide you with all the necessary information so that you can organise it yourself without any complications.

I'll handle all the technical clarification myself – you won't have to worry about anything.

Yes, my set-up is modular and can be adapted to any room size.

I'm always on site in good time and set up discreetly without disrupting ongoing operations.

Of course. There is a preliminary discussion and my music questionnaire. Requests, do-not-play lists and special requirements are possible. At the event itself, I respond flexibly to the guests and the mood.

Absolutely. Especially at private events such as weddings as well as company parties and events, this is my daily, or rather evening task as an event DJ. Uniting generations musically and giving everyone a great party evening is a challenge, art and my passion all rolled into one. Nobody should leave the event and not have been musically happy - that is my aim.

I'd be delighted. I play regularly for various audiences and have a large international music selection.

Yes, I will bring a high-quality microphone for moderation and speeches.  

No, I'll leave that to my fellow presenters who are perfect at it. As lovely as the idea of an all-rounder might be, the DJ who can also present or play the saxophone isn't usually truly good at everything they offer. My core competence is quite clearly my music knowledge paired with DJing and good observation skills on site.

I dress appropriately for the occasion. This includes everything from a shirt with loose chinos and smart sneakers to a tailored suit with a shirt and bow tie. However, I don't wear tails and shiny patent leather shoes. That wouldn't be 100% me and it's essential that I feel comfortable in my clothes at work.
