Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator's contact details in the „Information on the controller“ section of this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form.
Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour. If contracts can be concluded or initiated via the website, the transmitted data will also be processed for contract offers, orders or other order enquiries.
What rights do you have with regard to your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You can contact us at any time if you have further questions on the subject of data protection.

The use of Hetzner is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in displaying our website as reliably as possible. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Order processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which guarantees that it processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Cloudflare
We use the „Cloudflare“ service. The provider is Cloudflare Inc, 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter referred to as „Cloudflare”).
Cloudflare offers a globally distributed content delivery network with DNS. Technically, the information transfer between your browser and our website is routed via Cloudflare's network. This enables Cloudflare to analyse the data traffic between your browser and our website and to act as a filter between our servers and potentially malicious data traffic from the Internet. Cloudflare may also use cookies or other technologies to recognise Internet users, but these are used solely for the purpose described here.
The use of Cloudflare is based on our legitimate interest in providing our website as error-free and secure as possible (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Details and further information on security and data protection at Cloudflare can be found here: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
The company is certified in accordance with the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA that is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5666.

This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which guarantees that it processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
3 General notes and mandatory information
Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data will be collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the responsible body
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is
Markus Rosenbaum
Peckhausweg 11
40625 Düsseldorf
Telephone: +49 (0)151 23007738
E-mail: hello@djmarkusrosenbaum.de
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the deletion will take place after these reasons no longer apply.
General information on the legal basis for data processing on this website
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR, insofar as special categories of data are processed in accordance with Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR. In the event of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information in your end device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), the data processing is also carried out on the basis of Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time. If your data is required for the fulfilment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data if this is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Information on the relevant legal bases in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Note on the transfer of data to third countries that are not secure under data protection law and the transfer to US companies that are not DPF-certified
Among other things, we use tools from companies based in third countries that are not secure under data protection law and US tools whose providers are not certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these countries and processed there. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in third countries that are not secure under data protection law.
We would like to point out that the USA, as a safe third country, generally offers a level of data protection comparable to the EU. Data transfers to the USA are therefore permissible if the recipient has certification under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF) or possesses appropriate additional safeguards. Information on transfers to third countries, including data recipients, can be found in this privacy policy.
Recipients of personal data
As part of our business activities, we work with various external organisations. This sometimes also requires us to transmit personal data to these external organisations. We only pass on personal data to external organisations if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in passing on the data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the passing on of data. When using contract processors, we only pass on our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid contract for order processing. In the case of joint processing, a contract for joint processing is concluded.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke a consent already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data processing in specific situations and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where data processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. You can find the respective legal basis on which processing is based in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR SUCH MARKETING, INCLUDING PROFILING WHEREVER IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right of complaint to the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint shall be without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, Rectification and Deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally require time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data took place/is taking place unlawfully, you can request a restriction on data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection according to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, that data may only be processed – apart from its storage – with your consent, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from „http://“ to „https://“ and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to advertising e-mails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of our obligation to provide a legal notice for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
4. data collection on this website
Biscuits
Our Internet pages use so-called „cookies“. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies can be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG); the consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in our privacy policy.
Consent with Borlabs Cookie
Our website uses Borlabs Cookie consent technology to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies in your browser or to the use of certain technologies and to document these in compliance with data protection regulations. The provider of this technology is Borlabs GmbH, Rübenkamp 32, 22305 Hamburg, Germany (hereinafter referred to as Borlabs).
When you enter our website, a Borlabs cookie is stored in your browser, in which the consents you have given or the revocation of these consents are stored. This data is not passed on to the provider of Borlabs Cookie.
The data collected will be stored until you ask us to delete it or delete the Borlabs cookie yourself or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected. Details on data processing by Borlabs Cookie can be found at https://de.borlabs.io/kb/welche-daten-speichert-borlabs-cookie/.
Borlabs cookie consent technology is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Server request time
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Contact Form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain stored by us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions, especially retention periods, remain unaffected.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to answer customer queries
We use AI-powered software to process and respond to customer enquiries. The AI we employ analyses the content of your message to generate a suitable response or response suggestion, either autonomously or semi-autonomously. In this context, our AI processes all content of your message, including names, email addresses, communication content, or technical information (e.g. IP addresses, device information).
The use of the deployed AI software is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most efficient customer communication possible using modern technical solutions.
We use the following AI applications:
ChatGPT
We use ChatGPT for our customer communication. The provider is OpenAI, 3180 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA., https://openai.com. Therefore, when you contact us, your queries, including metadata, may be transferred to and processed on ChatGPT's servers to generate a suitable response.
We have set ChatGPT so that the data we forward to ChatGPT is not used to train the ChatGPT algorithm.
Further information can be found here: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
Order processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which guarantees that it processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Enquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your enquiry, including any personal data arising from it (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.
Communication via WhatsApp
We use the instant messaging service WhatsApp, among other things, to communicate with our customers and other third parties. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Communication takes place via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from gaining access to the communication content. However, WhatsApp receives access to metadata that is created in the course of the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We would also like to point out that WhatsApp states that it shares the personal data of its users with its parent company Meta, which is based in the USA. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp's privacy policy at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.
The use of WhatsApp is based on our legitimate interest in the fastest and most effective communication with customers, interested parties and other business and contractual partners possible (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). If corresponding consent has been requested, data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of consent; this can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
The communication content exchanged between you and us on WhatsApp will remain with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/7735.
We use WhatsApp in the „WhatsApp Business“ version.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-data-transfer-addendum.
We have concluded an order processing contract (AVV) with the above-mentioned provider.
Typeform
We have integrated Typeform on this website. The provider is TYPEFORM S.L., Carrer Bac de Roda, 163, 08018 Barcelona, Spain (hereinafter referred to as Typeform).
Typeform allows us to create online forms and embed them on our website. The data you enter into our Typeform forms is stored on Typeform's servers until you request its deletion, revoke an issued consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g. upon completion of processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.
Typeform is used on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in functional online forms. If appropriate consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 Para. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Order processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which guarantees that it processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Use of chatbots
We use chatbots to communicate with you. Chatbots are able to respond to your questions and other inputs without human assistance. To do this, chatbots analyse your input alongside other data in order to provide suitable answers (e.g. names, email addresses and other contact details, customer numbers and other identifiers, orders and chat logs). Furthermore, your IP address, log files, location information and other metadata can be collected via the chatbot. This data is stored on the chatbot provider's servers.
User profiles can be created on the basis of the data collected. The data can also be used to display interest-based advertising, provided that the other legal requirements (in particular consent) are met. For this purpose, the chatbots can be linked to analysis and advertising tools.
The data collected can also be used to improve our chatbots and their response behaviour (machine learning).
The data you enter as part of our communication will be retained by us or the chatbot operator until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.
The legal basis for the use of chatbots is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that the chatbot is used for the initiation or performance of a contract. If appropriate consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. In all other cases, the use is based on our legitimate interest in customer communication that is as effective as possible (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Use of AI applications within chatbot communication
Our chatbots use artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of customer communication. The AI we use analyses the content of your message in order to autonomously generate a suitable response. In this context, the AI processes all the content of your message, including names, email addresses, communication content or technical information (e.g. IP addresses, device information).
The use of the implemented AI software is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most efficient customer communication possible using modern technical solutions. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
We are integrating the following AI applications into our chatbots:
ChatGPT
Our chatbots use ChatGPT for our customer communication. The provider is OpenAI, 3180 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA., https://openai.com. Therefore, if you contact us via chatbot, your requests, including metadata, may be transferred to ChatGPT's servers and processed there to generate a suitable response.
We have set ChatGPT so that the data we forward to ChatGPT is not used to train the ChatGPT algorithm.

Where corresponding consent has been sought, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. 6th Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use the newsletter service providers described below to process the newsletter.
Mailchimp
This website uses the services of Mailchimp to send newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
Mailchimp is a service that can be used to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters, among other things. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address), this data is stored on Mailchimp's servers in the USA.
With the help of Mailchimp, we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with Mailchimp, a file contained in the email (known as a web beacon) connects to Mailchimp's servers in the USA. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you do not wish to be analysed by Mailchimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this purpose in every newsletter message.
The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the cancellation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/eu-us-data-transfer-statement/ and https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/#Annex_C_-_Standard_Contractual_Clauses.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
For more information, please refer to Mailchimp's privacy policy at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.
The company is certified in accordance with the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA that is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/7693.
