For Medifox Dan as DJ at the exhibition stand party in Nuremberg
I have already DJed at a wide variety of trade fairs, but this year was my first time on board at the ALTENPFLEGE trade fair in Nuremberg. The leading trade fair for the care sector took place in Nuremberg from 8 to 10 April and I had the honour of providing sound for the stand of Medifox Dan, a provider of software solutions for care and therapy, at the closing party.
The ALTENPFLEGE trade fair in Nuremberg: an event for the care sector
The ALTENPFLEGE trade fair in Nuremberg is an important event for professionals from the care sector. Experts, suppliers and service providers meet here to discuss new developments and solutions in the field of care for the elderly. With a wide range of exhibitors, lectures and workshops, the trade fair is an absolute must for anyone working in the care sector. For me as a DJ, it's always exciting to discover how a trade fair can be combined with music and a good atmosphere.

My DJ set at the trade fair stand party for Medifox Dan
It was the first time that I played for the client Medifox Dan at the ALTENPFLEGE trade fair, and I was very excited about the gig. As always in Nuremberg, the logistics were perfectly organised. It's not for nothing that Nuremberg is one of my favourite trade fair cities. Parking was straightforward and setting up my DJ equipment was quick and smooth. Simple but important details like this make all the difference, especially when you're working in an exhibition hall where many appointments and programmes follow one another and you're trying not to be in anyone's way.
The exhibition stand party for healthcare providers at the Nuremberg trade fair
My DJ set started at 5.30 pm and I played until 10 pm - the perfect way to end the working day in a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere. The party was intended for the employees of Medifox Dan, and I know from experience that employees are always in a party mood after a long trade fair. It was a great way for the employer to say thank you to its employees and a nice way to round off the event, filling the trade fair stand with music and lifting everyone's spirits.
At first - as always at a trade fair stand party - networking and relaxed drinks were on the agenda, which I accompanied with suitable chill-out and background beats. But as soon as I turned up the music, most people couldn't stop dancing and the dance floor was quickly packed. Time flew by and the dance floor was filled with a party crowd that was in a party mood. After all the hustle and bustle and the exhausting days at the trade fair, a trade fair stand party is just the right thing to switch off and let go.

The hits of the evening: these songs got the dance floor shaking at the trade fair stand party
There are always a few tracks that really get the crowd going. On this evening, there were three songs in particular that created a fantastic atmosphere:
- Rosé & Bruno Mars – APT.
- House of Pain – Jump Around
- Bellini – Samba De Janeiro (Freejak Remix)
These songs not only got the dance floor shaking, but also turned the entire exhibition stand into a huge party zone. The employees really switched off after the exhausting days and went into party mode. The atmosphere was great!
The singalong moments: community spirit included
The Party People sang along to these three singalong songs, which I played at the trade fair stand party that evening:
- Natasha Bedingfield – Unwritten
- Atomic Kitten – Whole Again
- N-Sync – Tearin’ Up My Heart
The community song of the evening: an unforgettable moment
One of the most emotional and at the same time most celebrated songs of the evening was "Feel" by Robbie Williams. This song is always guaranteed to unite all the guests and create wonderful memories. A perfect end to an evening with brilliant beats and an exuberant atmosphere.
A successful DJ gig at the trade fair in Nuremberg
Unfortunately, as in many German trade fair cities, the party in Nuremberg had to end at 10.00 pm. To be honest, this was a great pity, as the 150 party-loving employees would certainly have kept on dancing, as the "one more to go" choruses from the party crowd loudly informed me. But even the best party has to come to an end, and unfortunately the deadlines at trade fairs are usually a little stricter. In any case, the evening was a complete success and I'm delighted that I was able to be there as DJ at the trade fair stand party in Nuremberg.
I'm already looking forward to the next exhibition in Nuremberg!
