My name is Markus and I’ve been working as a DJ for over 20 years. I’ve been a full-time professional DJ since 2013.
After completing my degree in business administration, I initially worked for nearly ten years at a media agency and in Microsoft’s marketing department. But turning DJing into my full-time career was inevitable, because making partygoers happy on the dance floor is my absolute passion.
Why hire an event DJ for corporate events and weddings?
While I initially worked as an event DJ at a mix of birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, and club nights, I have been focusing exclusively on corporate events and weddings since mid-2015.
I play about 100 evenings (and days) a year, including about 50 corporate and 50 private events.
My work isn't limited to Germany; I'm happy to go wherever I'm needed.
As a DJ—whether at corporate events or weddings—my goal is to entertain a very diverse crowd. From the interns to the executives, or from the little cousin to Grandma. In the end, music is what brings everyone together. My passion is to capture that sense of community for everyone in the perfect soundtrack.

My DJ style is a good mixture of calm, chilled sounds at the beginning of the event and very danceable sounds throughout the evening.

Parties with a lot of après-ski, Schlager, and "Ballermann" music—or a lot of MCing—aren't really my thing.

And what does the event DJ do in his free time?
I live in Düsseldorf with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks or a jog through Grafenberger Wald and listening to new tracks – music’s always a good idea. I’m subscribed to various music streaming services and can spend hours listening to new songs or remixes.
When I’m not listening to music, I’m a big fan of podcasts – I love a good story – and I hardly ever miss an episode of Baywatch Berlin. Having neglected my tennis a bit recently, I’m getting back into it now.
